| Central Coast USFA Tournament Committee |
|
The Foundation is excited to announce the formulation of the central coast’s USFA Tournament Committee. This body exists to facilitate communication in the community regarding the organization and scheduling of our local USFA events, and to manage the USFA Tournament Fund. A portion of the proceeds from many of our local events is set aside into the Fund, to be used to support the local USFA fencing community. In the past, this money has purchased weights and shims, mask-testing equipment, and supplies for running the tournaments. Last year, we were pleased to complete the purchase of an entire scoring machine set. And now we are looking for more volunteers to help us decide how to spend this money.
We would love to hear some new voices with fresh ideas from our area on
how we can support the advancement of our USFA events on the central
coast. If you are interested in being a part of this exciting new group
or have any questions about it, please contact us at
tournamentchair@centralcoastfencing.org. |
